Some items in the box are owned by club members. If you leave something in the box, be aware that others might use it. On the edge of the box, there’s a hatch with a container inside containing belts and other tools. Next to the box, there are buckets with wrist wraps, lifting straps, and other gear.

The club room is located in room A013 in Festia’s basement. The club room has:

There’s no fixed schedule for the club room. You’re most likely to find people there on weekday afternoons. To get there, enter Festia through the main doors, walk down the accessible ramp on the left, go down the stairs, and find room A013 in the hallway on the right. The door code is the year the club was founded.

From the office cabinet in front of the Tamppi Areena downstairs locker rooms, you can buy:

Merchandise (T-shirts, water bottles, coverall patches)
Other food or drinks brought by the procurement officer

If the cabinet is empty, feel free to complain to the board.

Subsections within the club include the official powerlifting section, which you can learn more about from the club’s website. There are also unofficial sections for volleyball and strongman-type sports. You can ask around for more information.

12-month contract for 23.90 euros per month plus a 9.95 euro starting fee at all locations except Nokia Arena, or a

Members can join training sessions at Nääshalli during Tampereen Pyrintö’s weightlifting section’s training times. If you train there regularly, you’ll need to pay a gym fee. Training schedules can be found in the city of Tampere’s Timmi service.

Events typically include courses that are 10 euros cheaper for members, rankings that are free for members but cost usually 10 euros for others, Otto Fält Cups that have been free for members, and free participation in the Finnish Student Championships if you volunteer at our event that year. Volunteering does not require membership, but opportunities are mostly announced to members. Members can also attend general club meetings.

Events:
Courses tend to be 10 euros cheaper for members
Ranking competitions are free for members, usually 10€ for others.
Otto Fält Cups and other competitions hosted by Hauiskääntö are also often free for members.
Student Nationals are free only if you volunteer on one or more of our events that year.
Members can join our general assemblies and other events that are members only.

You can pay via MobilePay or bank transfer. Other purchases like drinks and clothes can also be paid the same way. Remember to use a reference number or write a description of what you’re buying.
